cahnJust got back from my college friend A's wedding, which was without a doubt the most fancy party I've ever been to. I've never been to a black tie wedding before, and... yeah, wow. Quite spectacular, and very tasteful, and we had a lot of fun, and I got to see my freshman college roommate for the first time in almost ten years. We also got to see a lot of fun people I went to church with in college who are now in NYC.
Because I like book-posting, I'll also just say that it's cool to go to places that one has read books about... The Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler... So You Want to Be a Wizard... The Cricket in Times Square... though there's always a certain amount of cognitive dissonance: "It didn't look this way in my head!"
