Just for signal-boosting: I have been whining about wanting a text-based community to talk about Les Mis (that is, not tumblr, which defeats me regularly) and hey! A shiny les_miserables! Yay!

Yes, why is tumblr so difficult? I want to reblog, I just don't know how. And when I say I don't know how, what I really mean is that I can't be arsed to follow the thread of "from:" to figure out who the original poster was. It's hat-tipping gone mad. When did I get to be such a cranky old blogger?

Oh, Les Mis! I broke my addiction to Les Mis (the Broadway version) sometime in college, I refuse to go back. And then something like this happens. And I think, "Hmm, I should know more about the Hugo part of this canon." But NO, it's a really bad idea, I am not following your link!

Have you watched the movie? I thought I was done and over with Les Mis addiction, although when the movie came out I reread the book just so I could say I'd read every word in the darn thing. Then I watched the movie. And now I'm sucked in. ...I agree. It's a bad, bad idea :)
