Oh, hey, I'm skimming ahead (the big "Fritz, c'est le Prince" letter is next), and Frau von Kamecke is getting a shout-out for having the courage to throw herself between FW and Wilhelmine! Will definitely be writing this letter up as soon as I have the time.

Now, that's a great contemporary verification of the story! *thinks of all the Hohenzollern historians chiding Wilhelmine for "exaggarating" and being a bad daughter*
