Amadeus (stage)

selenak told me that the National Theatre's production of Amadeus is on Youtube until Thursday. I am about an hour through and omg it is fantastic (the actor playing Mozart is a little too over-the-top for me, but everyone else is SO GOOD -- omg Salieri -- and the MUSIC)

selenak's review is here. (I haven't read it yet because I guess there are spoilers after the first paragraph? Also I had already wanted to watch it because I'd always wanted to see the stage version as I love the movie sooooo much, but that first paragraph would have convinced me if I hadn't been convinced already.)

Augh I forgot to respond, sorry! THE MUSIC WAS SO GREAT. I didn't think they could do it in a way that would make me like it as much as the movie, but they totally did!

augh, I never responded to this! (I was. Uh. Busy :D ) It was soooo great! Wow, yeah, the play script is hatesexy. I wish the Mozart had been a little better, but everyone else (Salieri! Constanze!) was completely amazing!
