Mar. 7th, 2013 08:20 pmI am sorry about disappearing from the internet! I probably either owe you an email or a post about something, or possibly both. I thiiiink I am catching up slowly. Maybe. I am definitely still reading the Aeneid, I promise, and will try to get at least one post about that up later this week.
Meanwhile,
-E has turned 3. She had a party (actually, three celebrations with dessert -- one with my parents before her birthday; one with K and her daughter, who is six months younger than E and happily were visiting at the time; and an actual party with multiple other kids involved, which she had mixed feelings about, and cake, which she very much enjoyed).
-E is now turning into a little person! I'll now start putting things referring to her in personal detail under f-lock, although I reserve the right to post occasional mild cute things she says/does in public :)
-Weirdly, it is D-the-adult, not E-the-three-year-old, who appears to be the person who is bringing home the colds this year. All the colds. Our immune systems are a lot stronger than last year, thankfully, so we all are still functional, but I've still been rather more tired, with occasional side helpings of sniffly, than I feel is ideal. However, we have so far escaped the flu, except that now that I've said that, we'll probably come down with it, because this is how things happen.
-I get to stay in three different hotels in the next week and a half. I like staying in hotels very much (clean sheets I didn't have to wash! though I hate flying, although yesterday flying was lovely because it meant I got to SLEEP, and thank goodness this latest cold is only mildly sniffly with no stuffiness), but this is a little ridiculous. After this I don't have to travel anywhere for a while, though.
