It's official...

My sister is going to marry Brendan H, a computer engineer who works for Boeing. They both live in St Louis (the Kid is in her last year of med school at Washington University). They are planning to get married next April in St Louis. They've been dating since the beginning of the year. His family lives in Iowa-- coincidentally and happily, very near Dave's parents!
I was privileged to meet B. this summer; they seem like a great match to me and are really cute together. And, well, obviously I totally approve of her good taste in marrying an engineer techie boy, and I was even more excited when I found out he loves to read and is a SF/fantasy fan! Poor B. got a really, really long list of book recs from D and me at that point...
