D and I had a great if short time in NC, at least after the debacle that was the first time we tried to fly out of USAirways -- we spent all day, literally, in line at the airport after our flight was canceled, and the only reason I'm not emphatically saying not to fly USAirways is that when we finally talked to someone he was actually competent and found us a decent flight to NC, which we hadn't thought was possible. We lost a day and a half, though, which really sucked because it was already a short visit before that. On the other hand... at least we didn't fly through denver. We met some people in the airport who had stories that were so much worse that we feel bad complaining about ours.

This was D's trip to Get Introduced To People Who Weren't At The Wedding (I'm going to have mine to meet his high school friends next christmas) - D got to meet Challe and family, and Kristy and Wyatt (though not David), and we also got to see Kathy and Ben and K's new very-short haircut, although they may never drive down to see me again unless I convince them that my parents don't *usually* monopolize my friends that way! It's USAir's fault :)

Got to hang out with Kid a lot. She made me some really cool earrings and necklaces. We also finally got me caught up on Veronica Mars, which I actually like this season for the most part.
