...My three-year-old has just informed me that he wants to go to the Halloween party tonight as Posa.

Yes, the Marquis of Posa from Don Carlo.

I don't know whether I should be very pleased or very, very frightened.

(To be fair, I think all this means is that he wants to wear his green cape, and I seem to have successfully shunted this into being "Super Rabbit Boy" (the hero of some books we've been reading) but...)

ETA: Now he wants me to be the Prince. So I have a green cape too now. People are gonna be really confused...

Awwww, yes, we had a great time! :) (We did find some rabbit ears and he ended up going as Super Rabbit Boy. No one asked me about my green cape, although one person did ask me if we were matching :) )
