A fawning dedication to William Keith

Since we have been talking about the Keiths, I thought you might enjoy this great example of an early 18th century fawning dedication, written by some guy called William Hope and dedicated to George and James's father William Keith. : D I discovered it while researching fencing for a fic.

As you can see, Hope has taken full advantage of the possibilities of Capitalization, ALLCAPS, and italics. You can't see it, because there are limits to my efforts, but he has also made artistic use of changing font size and variation in indents. Alas that he has not discovered the bold style and the font change.

(This publication was useful to me, because it told me what blunt practice swords were called (florets), and what they looked like.)

Ahahahaha this is awesome and I applaud your bringing to us all the myriad ALLCAPS and italics and Capitalization! I think my favorite bit is how he wishes for the KEITHS to Flourifh for Seventy times Seven Hundred Years; nay even to the CONSUMMATION of all Things! WELL THEN.
