If selenak is requesting Heinrich, I might see about requesting someone else as well (maybe Voltaire and/or Fritz), just so it is possible to game for either of us. (Because I'm not sure that I'm requesting anything you want to write, lol.) I thiiiink I'm gonna say in my letter basically that for gift, I want Heinrich being awesomely competent as part of my gift, would like at least a mention of Fritz and Voltaire but they don't have to show up in person. Heinrich does NOT need to be the main character, he just has to be in the story in some capacity.
Prompts I want, off the top of my head: -The AU where Fritz gets captured and Voltaire has to rescue him, and Heinrich is regent (please? :D ) -Heinrich and Sophie/Catherine: anything either canon or AU; I have a special fondness for the AU where they end up married, with the caveat that they can't hate each other and Heinrich can't punch down, but if they are continually involved in conspiracies to kill each other, so much the better -The AU where Fritz becomes king of England, then what happens with the Revolutionary War?? and does Heinrich go over to the colonies????
But for treats anything that even vaguely fits in this fandom goes, with or without Heinrich, with or without nominated characters. Heinrich/Kaphengst would be great! And if you don't end up signing up, and no one else requests it, I will also prompt Fritz/Katte so that anyone who wants to write it can :)

And my chances of researching her in time to write an AU for Yuletide are slim.

How do you two feel about keeping a running list of ideas/prompts, not specific to an exchange, that we're especially excited about? Because I feel like I find things out at exchanges that I wish I had known before. We discuss a lot of ideas, but I would not have guessed, say, that selenak was particularly interested in Keith/Lehndorff, or the Strasbourg trip. And so forth. Would there be any interest in keeping a list of your favorite ideas up to date?
And on another fanfic-related note, I've also been thinking for a while, and cahn suggested it around that time too, that we might want to organize the snippets and plot outlines we have written. Does anyone have any thoughts on what they'd like to see done with these? Or, conversely, anything you *don't* want to happen, like, idk, posting a snippet on AO3 if you're planning on turning it into a real fic?
I'm thinking about putting them in rheinsberg posts, tagged, and then we can refer back to them if we choose to develop them, or just reread them for fun. And if they do turn into real fics, like Fredersdorf's diary, we can link from the Rheinsberg snippet to the AO3 fic(s).
It would also be useful for things like prompting, as you could go through the tag and go, "Oh, yeah, that one! I want that one."
I'm very happy about a list of ideas! A document in the library, I guess? I feel like at Yuletide I've been like, "...what were those fic ideas I wanted again??" and I am sure there are several I'm just totally forgetting.
I was thinking about the possibility of putting the fic snippets on AO3 itself so that other people could read them :) (Oh come on, doesn't everyone want to read the outline of Fritz/Joseph marriagefic? OF COURSE THEY DO.) I was thinking maybe just one AO3 work, with each different snippet as a different chapter. Rheinsberg would work too, of course.
