my job rocks, part 2
Nov. 26th, 2012 08:55 pmWell, part of it does.
In particular, my co-worker who had a major deadline today and who has a month-old baby (and a three-year-old) at home and who troubleshooted patiently for me after his dinner and calmly walked me through a whole raft of crap, none of which he had to do or ought to have been asked to do on such short notice? Is so awesome I can't even tell you. SO AWESOME.
(Though he probably does not think I am that awesome right now, and neither does his wife, I imagine.)
The part where I was at work thirteen hours today when I usually am at work for about four hours on Mondays, maybe not so much?
Okay. Someday work will stop blowing up on me and I'll talk about something else. Probably even this week. *takes a deep breath*
