Some awesome historical RPF candyheartsex stories for meeeeee (or by me, in one tiny case) with historical characters! I'm just going to note whom the stories are about here. They are all so good!!

Anne Boleyn/Catherine of Aragorn
Frances Howard and Frances Coke (or: James I's court was basically a HOTBED of scandal, omg)

And two that are also historical RPF but also consistent with the Jude Morgan novel The King's Touch, which is an excellent historical novel narrated by James ("Jemmy") Scott, Duke of Monmouth, Charles II's illegitimate son.

Alas, yes. BTW:

I fear that he will have gone to England via Hamburg.

Would probably have been a good idea, given that they weren't Hohenzollern fans in Hamburg and it's way easier to go directly to England from there than from Hannover or France, but was this ever the plan for Katte?

I think it might have been, because if I'm remembering correctly, he was supposed to take care of Fritz's library, and Fritz's library was supposed to go to Hamburg. So it might well have been one of the many variations of the plan (which changed day to day) that got discussed.

But I think there was also a version where Katte was supposed to meet with Fritz near Stuttgart, and probably a version where he was supposed to meet up in the Hague, and...yeah. The planning on this was "whatever looks good at the moment."
