I'm trying to use my other account at least occasionally so I posted about my Yuletide gifts there, including the salon-relevant 12k fic that features Fritz, Heinrich, Voltaire, Fredersdorf, Saint Germain, Caroline Daum (Fredersdorf's wife), and Groundhog Day tropes! (Don't need to know canon.)

I'll listen when I can, but I've got a crowded week. Also, the second cartoon Fritz episode is up. I'm impressed: they get right that the Anti-Machiavell actually doesn't contradict later Fritzian politics so much as people think, because of that whole "preemptive strike war against some REALLY LARGE NEIGHBOR WHO IS SURE TO ATTACK YOU" thing, they mention Fritz (not FW!) had suggested marrying MT during his quest for alternate brides, and they include Algarotti. (Though not the orgasm poem.) Otoh: no Fredersdorf. At all. Boo, hiss!
