De Saxe was going to head the invasion force? Hah, Hanoverian Britain was very lucky that France wasn't all that serious about setting the Stuarts up in a nice comfortable throne... I've ordered an antique postcard of a painting of Fontenoy, which no doubt has de Saxe featured somewhere, commanding the French army in its victory "gagnee sur les Anglais."
