AHAHAHA. I was kind of like, "I notice you didn't actually say anything about PUTTING OUT THE FIRE," Lehndorff! Just "observing."

Lol I'm glad you occasionally do glance at the English (though I don't expect it)! Also "bathroom." I mean, I can get the gist even with the mistranslations but it does sometimes become a bit nonsensical :)

It's the incident Schmidt-Lötzen refers to in his preface when gently preparing his 1907 readers for the fact that the characters in this chronicle, including and especially our diarist, are incredibly emo, and they should take it in the spirit of the era. :)
