I noticed "zimperliese"! LOL google, at least you know when you're beaten. And that was interesting to get the French translation (which I also didn't know).
Argh, I'm pacing you reading (even in English this is a lot easier, yay no architecture :P ), but getting my phone fixed and figuring out my computer stuff took up most of the time I had thought I'd spend commenting today. Sorry, I feel like I'm really not doing well on this particular reading group :( I'll catch up, but by that time you'll probably have finished the book! Hopefully I can have better discussions with you on the next one...
Nah, no worries! You're helping me keep on track with my German, which is the *most* important part.
And having a slow comment week is giving me time to do other fandom-related things, like I finally managed to incorporate all Selena's contributions by topic to our chronology into the master chronology, and update the Rheinsberg sticky post to link to the Google doc. I might make some more Rheinsberg posts later today, especially since Selena's done some write-ups that haven't been transferred yet.
Also, Dark Quartet was very important! As are technical issues, which I totally understand, and I'm glad those seem to be sorted.
I'm hoping to finish Wives sometime this week (going slowly and trying to do as much Wilhelmine memoirs as possible), and then we can decide whether we do Lehndorff or Oster's Wilhelmine bio next.
