We have slowed down a lot, but are still (sporadically) going! And somehow filled up the last post while I wasn't looking!

Date: 2020-08-10 02:41 pm (UTC)Having read Orieux' magnum opus about Voltaire, I feel that both the majority of his friends and the majority of Fritz' friends were aghast about the respective other guy. Not in 1740 or 43, but certainly by 1750 - 53 and after.
Mind you, what I really want is the pov of the cook whom Voltaire gifted the "Age of Louis XIV" to when departing Prussia...
