Opera streaming

Everyone knows the Met and other opera companies are streaming opera free right now, right?

Tonight the Met is streaming Eugene Onegin, so everyone should watch it and then report back to me :)

(In two weeks the Met will be streaming their Don Carlo. Just Saying :P )

OMG wait, I was missing it is available for 20 HOURS after that. I thought it was one and done! (My concentration is shot to shit these days.) My husband may wind up getting a morning dose of opera since he's such an early fucking bird, LOL. (He is one of those people who wakes up at six without an alarm.)

Met on Demand is actually highly reasonable if you have some disposable income! It's $15/month and you can cancel anytime, so I tend to watch several or more in a month (I feel like $5/opera is a pretty good rate, especially with the Met's quality vids) and then cancel for a couple of months while I catch up on other stuff, then rinse and repeat. But I think I'm going to keep it going while on lockdown as an anti-anxiety aid; sometimes I just want to listen to One Particular Opera Or Composer and only That One will do.
