I've just reread the first few chapters of Copper Crown. Aeron is impulsive, reckless, immature, acts first and justifies it afterwards (good justifications, admittedly). Her handling of a jealous foster-sister is totally wrong, on all levels. Not too much Mary Sue there. And I still love her. Now, Gwydion, on the other hand.... what's the male equivalent of Mary Sue?
