Personally I think all of the guys in Gotterdammerung are obnoxious -- I am basically in the Ring for Brunnhilde and Sieglinde :) (All right, I love all the characters in Walkure -- not that Siegmund and Hunding aren't obnoxious and/or evil too, but I find them fascinating anyway.) (My feelings about Gutrune are colored by how much I love Gudrun in Volsunga saga.) I really want the AU where Sieglinde lives and parents Siegfried so he turns out nicer :D
