Note that this does not correlate with how well I liked the book or how well I thought it was written; TGE wins easily on both those counts.
I find this so strange. I liked TGE best, so I'm voting for it for #1, and it was that simple for me. I have a lot of feelings about the Hugos and Worldcon, but fundamentally they boil down to "This award is an award that this big and complicated and messy club of SF fans I care about a lot gives every year to the works we think best reflect our collective taste."
Your Fringe fic is fantastic. Oh Season 5, you are the greatest AU fanfic season ever.
