heeeee. That was, indeed, amusing. It's also funny to me that it is pretty much the dual to what I've been dealing with lately at (my) church, which is looking at arrangements of nice inoffensive doctrinally-okay but sometimes rather random lyrics in English to slap on over original lyrics so I can actually use the music. (For example, Mozart's "Ave verum corpus natum de Maria virgine" -- literally, hail True Body born of the Virgin Mary -- has by some sort of weird alchemy, in the LDS-sanctioned version, become "Heavenly Father, in humility we pray, grateful for the gift of thy Holy Son" -- uhhhhh, okay!)
