Well, it's satire! How can you go wrong? ;) I don't like vampire novels either... which is part of why I liked this one; it poked a lot of fun at Certain Books (and quite possibly other books I have no idea about).
I tend to get overenthusiastic about Brennan (and about meta), so keep that in mind, but YAY META.
