Yeah, dollar cost averaging for the long-long-term is, I reckon, pretty much always a good idea. However, I am still trying to talk my parents into getting at least partially out after this latest rally (since they have a much shorter investing horizon, and are rather more heavily into equities than they ought to have been at their age in general).
