See, this sounds awesome! I don't understand why an author wouldn't use the awesome material that history gave them?? I don't know that he did have the material when he wrote the book in 1901! It could very well have been buried in some archive, or elsewhere...
The clothing book sounds rather amazing. Are you going to make clothes using details from it? :D Alas, there seems little chance of that without cloning myself. Augh, why so little time?
