*nods* I agree with both of these. (2) yes. And yeah, I am ambivalent about (1) too, because on one hand I feel like they're very different from their historical counterparts, but on the other hand AO3 precedent seems to be that if they're fictional but recognizable that they get synned to the RPF...?
