I was really worried it was bedbugs too but it does seem to be more likely to be fleas or even some other random bug (ants? do ants bite?). I don't *think* it's mosquitoes (I get bit by mosquitoes a LOT and this doesn't fit the usual pattern) but one never knows. Thank you for the tips -- have been washing and vacuuming a lot (and I hate vacumming) and it seems to be helping.
