Not knowing a single thing about EC except what you have said, I can imagine that, even if not a lesbian, she might know enough about things that could go wrong with royal marriages and childbirth to be like, "My husband doesn't ever want to have sex with me? He doesn't even want to be near me?! Best. Husband. Ever!"
