You know what this needs? Epistolary fic where Tamer writes to Bullet about getting religion. (Of course Bullet wouldn't write to Tamer, or if he did it would be basically a one-line totally cryptic letter, like, "The military's a hard place. Good thing we talked about not running on the track." or something.)
Yeah, I really wonder what happened to Honey! I assume she was pretty upset but probably didn't want to go to the police (I got the impression her title to the car is a little shady). I sort of imagine Frank finding some sort of grey-market place to repair it... seems like the sort of thing he'd be good at. (And then Honey kicking him to the curb. At least, I like to think she did!)
