Yesssss. While I hadn't read any other Heyers, I'd read enough romance novels in general that I was familiar with the Reformed Rake trope (and didn't like it much).
Of course, the fact that Heyer actually uses the Reformed Rake trope straight in some of her other books made those books rather less interesting to me, after reading Cotillion!
