yuletide media consumption?

Before yuletide signups open, what media should I consume or re-consume? (These can be things you've nominated, things you think I should read/watch that other people have nominated, 5-minute fandoms that you think I'd enjoy...) It should ideally be fairly short (meaning single-book or no more than 3-4 hours of watching time).

If I haven't posted about it here in the last year or so, you can take it as given that I probably need to review it at least a little before making the plunge to offer it. (And this doesn't mean I'll actually offer it, of course, but I'll think about it :) Maybe even request it?)

My list so far:
-Soon I Will Be Invincible (Grossman, would be first read)
-Romeo and Juliet (Shakespeare) (does anyone have a youtube link they really like? would be a reread, but first watch)
-Romeo es Julia (would be first watch)
-The Perilous Gard (Pope, reread)

I am requesting fic about "The Provenance Game," a short story from the Fight Like a Girl anthology about MAGIC ARCHIVISTS who save the day with PROPER CATALOGING PROCEDURES. I'm gonna be doing a proper write-up of the antho in the next couple days, but I strongly recommend at least that very first story. :D

YES GOOD WATCHING ROMEO ES JULIA it is such a wonderful show! I am not going to be offering or requesting it for Yuletide but I am just happy to see other people watching it!

Let me link you to my recent post about the 1997 Cinderella musical, as well as to my pimping post from a couple years ago; the pimp post is a little out of date in terms of fandoms but the first two are ones I am still intending to request this year.

Mildly related to earlier post: I've been wanting to slash some of Orson Scott Card's characters for years, and there's the faintest chance someone else might want to read it for Yuletide, but none of the boys come to mind and I'm under the impression Card isn't so discomfited by queer women. I couldn't ask that you or anyone else read more of Card's work, but if by any chance you've read some recently, any suggestions?

Peter/Valentine is my unintended Card pairing of choice, and the characters have been nominated, but they don't have the same meta ring.

Eeee R és J, I hope you enjoy it! I don't have a favorite production of Shakespeare R&J, but I'm optimistic about the movie that's coming out in October.

I also recommend Eighteen Songs of a Nomad Flute and associated materials.

I read Soon I Will Be Invincible when it first came out- I think you'll enjoy it.

And for a real 5 minute canon, here's the entire canon of my nomination of "The Influence of Immanuel Kant on Evidentiary Approaches in 18th Century Bulgaria": http://www.acslaw.org/acsblog/law-prof-ifill-challenges-chief-justice-roberts%E2%80%99-take-on-academic-scholarship
