Stabi has this and other Joseph bios; I'm posting the link here for myself so I'll find them again easier once I can order new books again (I'm still busy with the six I ordered, of which the Wilhelmine essay one is but one, since I have other stuff to research, not salon-related):
Cool, thanks. Let me know if any of them turns out to be good, and especially if one is readable by someone whose German is a bit slow and effortful. (In theory, I'm perfectly capable of reading Stollberg-Rilinger, whose syntax is in fact easier than Horowski's; in practice, I lose motivation more easily than I would like. Horowski held my fascination all the way through, which motivated me to wrestle with the language.)
Re: Alert
ViennaJoe books here.
