I've been married for nine years at this point, and I've also been thinking a lot (over the last two years or so?) about the decision-making process that led us to that point. For the most part, it was a pretty sound process, but it also took us several years of indecision and I love hearing someone else's experience that seems similar.
I remember thinking that five years was such a long time to me when I was in my early twenties, and now that I have a kid who's pushing seven (!!) it seems like a much more manageable stretch of time.
