Revenge: Charade (1-7)

Back to music and books tomorrow!

REPORTER: So, Victoria and Conrad, what bonds you two together?
VICTORIA: Destroying the man I loved! I didn't say that out loud, right?
VICTORIA: My son. I love my son.
VICTORIA: I guess there are two other people in the family, too, right.

FRANK: I'll redeem myself to you, Victoria, or die trying.
ME (to screen): Noooooo, Frank, don't say that! THIS IS NOT THE KIND OF SHOW WHERE YOU CAN SAY THINGS LIKE THAT AND LIVE.
D: Um, what are you watching, anyway?

JACK: Friends don't lie to friends about the availability of cute girls.
NOLAN: But we're still friends, right?
JACK: ...I don't think you understood my last sentence.

NOLAN: So, I will unmask your gay master plan. I'll gloss over the part where it MAKES NO ACTUAL SENSE.
TYLER: That's about right. Not really gay, though. Well, maybe sorta.
NOLAN: Yeah, I'm about a 3 on the Kinsey scale myself.
ME: *am really, really pleased, I want more ambiguously sexual characters who admit it!*
NOLAN: *is generally really awesomely acted in this scene, with a depth to him we don't usually see*
TYLER: *comes on to Nolan*
ME: *am thinking this is definitely the best scene so far this ep; it's sort of like aggressive Emily/Victoria, which there really hasn't been too much of this ep, but with blackmail and sexual power plays worked in, which is even better*
ME: *cannot believe I just said that about a scene with Tyler in it*

DECLAN: I just figured, you know, that this swanky intimate anniversary dinner would be JUST the time to push my brother on you, Emily. Sadly, this level of complete and utter stupidity is not actually out of character for me. At all.
DECLAN, CHARLOTTE, EMILY, DANIEL: *leave angrily*
VICTORIA and CONRAD: ...What just happened?

REST OF EPISODE: *I have not much to say about, because it was mostly stupid*
ASHLEY: *is worthless*
FRANK: Damn, I knew I shouldn't have said that earlier in the ep.
NOLAN: *is still pretty awesomely acted, also still creepy*
EMILY: *is in trouble*
