They sound like fun reads! Moderate peril and darkness but not too much.

Plus I'm attracted to series that gain depth and layers as they go along (but aren't too bogged down by continuity).

Season 2 is due out this Christmas. Enjoyed S1 -- even without a great cast, I'd have liked it for its jauntiness relative to other YA dramas and sense of play.
