You should not be sorry about that at all! Scholomance is certainly a... specialized taste, what with the gruesome horror, and the super YA vibes, and the rather dysfunctional very-YA romance, and the Harry Potter critique vibes, and the basically entire lack of adults until book 3... :)

Incandescent really is a thoughtfully built book! And something I didn't realize I really wanted until I was reading it.
