There was an episode of Call the Midwife in the most recent season where a couple of the younger midwives are teaching a sex ed class in the school, and laughing themselves silly over some of the questions the kids put in the question box. One girl apparently asked, re human ovulation, "But what happens to the eggshells?" Which is a reasonable question, if the only kind of egg you have ever thought about before is a bird's egg!
