I am just going to say that I am delighted by little bits of Classics salon happening on my DW :DDDDDD (and no, I didn't know that)
(cenozoicsynapsid, for the past year and a half somehow I have gotten sucked into this amazing "salon" where mildred_of_midgard and selenak (and a couple of others, at this point) tell me about Frederick the Great and assorted figures around him, and sometimes do original research, and I, who somehow got out of school with extremely little history, am just happily encouraging them to tell me everything :) (It's gotten completely unwieldy, but you can see their writesups on rheinsberg, if you're at all interested -- though of course no issues if you're not!) And one day when they've exhausted Fritz they may tell me about the Greeks and Romans, which is this gaping hole for me in both my history and my literature (I've read... the Iliad/Odyssey/Aeneid, and that is pretty much it) which I think would be really great :) )
