Agreed. That said, I think if she had been a woman and Voltaire hadn't constantly been choosing her over him, Fritz would have made her one of his "Some of my best friends are women!" exceptions to his misogynistic rule. But being a woman AND putting him in the position of "other man" in Voltaire's life? Death knell.
