I liked Bridge (see my answer to mildred) but I can see why others might not. Heh, even as a kid I thought the eventual ship of Nightingales was rather odd (though I wouldn't have been able to articulate why), although overall I liked it. (I didn't like Chrysanthemums as much, although I think I liked it more as I got older.)
