Oh gosh, this is super useful, thank you! I had actually conflated the two Stanilauses in my head, in fact, which, uh, was confusing me :P :)

Oh, good! That does sound like it would be confusing. :) I'm glad the write-up turned out so useful, then. It grew out of a desire to explain the context of "There stands one who will avenge me," but then I realized there was a whole war that was interesting. Then I remembered that we had seen some of these people before. And the rest is history!
