You know, it's not that I don't get the hilarity and schadenfreude and total popcorn-munching aspects of their frenemy disaster, because I do. I think it's just that my fix-it instincts in this fandom are so strong that the part where it parses as a tragedy to me is a wee bit stronger, or at least strong enough to interfere with the enjoyment. :/
I mean, you're talking to someone whose current OT3 is fix-all-the-things Fritz/Katte/Keith. :P
But if someone writes Fritz/Voltaire, I will read the heck out of it and bring the popcorn!
