But apparently he was a little bit more flexible on the subject of what he would listen to than one might think; on another occasion, he and Anna Amalia heard an oratorio--music by Hasse, words by Maria Antonia--on the conversion of Saint Augustine. Fritz wrote to Heinrich that he wasn't too thrilled with the whole Saint Augustine thing, but he said the music was beautiful and that that was enough for him.
