My daughter is in fourth grade and sadly I am already starting to see little bits of these 'mean girl' dynamics -- one of her friends is trying out the queen bee role and seeing which girls are intimidated enough by her to pick on other girls at her behest. I should probably reread Queen Bees (I reread long before I had children, when I was working with teens) and see what I can glean from it to help her navigate.
