Ha, you've always seen it set in Boston? That's hilarious -- I wonder if it's more common to set it in Boston in Europe and in Sweden in the US. (Although the DVD I watched was of a Salzburg production, so that doesn't quite match up...) I didn't know that about Rigoletto. Hee! (Though zdenka told me a little while ago that Montfort in I vespri siciliani actually started out as the Duke of Alba from Philip II's court!)
