Heh, I thought of you when reading all the textile stuff. I do think I would have enjoyed it more had I known a little more about it (I mean, I enjoyed it, but there were clearly things I was missing).

Hmmmm. Okay, and if we assume grossular garnets were used in jewelry at that point (which I think is doubtful, but could be the case), that could work, although I still think she would not have used the word "garnet" to describe it :)
